Source: The obituary is from a collection of newspaper (paper names not recorded) obituaries saved, by Fauniel Hershberger, during the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

MELLOTT — Clyde Wade, 69, a former Mellott resident, died suddenly at Phoenix, Ariz., Wednesday. Funeral services were Saturday morning. He had lived in Anderson before moving to Arizona last June because of ill health. He was born March 11, 1896, to Aaron and Sarah Dotson Wade. He was married to Faye Campbell of New Richmond. Mr. Wade had been owner and editor of the Wingate News. He is survived by his wife; a son, Clyde, of Phoenix; a brother, S. A. Wade of Mellott, and four grandchildren.   --typed by Walt W

MELLOTT — Clyde Wade, age 69, a former Mellott resident, died suddenly at Phoenix, Ariz.,  Wednesday, April 14., Funeral
services were held there Saturday morning.
Mr. Wade had lived in Anderson before moving to Arizona last June because of ill health. He was born March 11, 1896, the son of Aaron and Sarah Dotson Wade: He was married to Faye Campbell of New Richmond.
He had been the owner and editor of the Wingate News.
Surviving are: his wife; one son, Clyde of Phoenix; four grandchildren and one brother, S. A. Wade of Mellott.
