Wilmer A. Smith, 62, a former Newtown resident, died Sunday evening in Indianapolis. Mr. Smith was born at Newtown, the son of Alva D. an Dora McDonald Smith. He was a member of Union Christian Church and attended Newtown school. He was a retired farmer. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Lena M. Floyd, Newtown; Mrs. Beulah A. Snelling, Attica; one niece and one nephew. Funeral services Wednesday, at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Rev. George Phelps of Newtown officiating.
