SMITH, Ruth Davidson - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Ruth H. Smith, 46 of CMR 9, died at 9:45 a.m. Sunday in Culver Hospital. She was a member of the First Christian Church and was a former employee of Sommer Metalcraft and Wilson Shirt Factory. A native of Fountain County, she was born June 19, 1924 a daughter of Samuel and Opal Tiddy (sic - Twiddy) Davidson. She married Edwin N. Smith May 20, 1944 in Ventura, Calif. Survivors are her husband, her father, two sons, James Allen and Thomas Dean, both of home, and a brother, William W. Davidson of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by two infant brothers. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Howard F. Miller officiating. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.
