SMITH, Roy Max - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Roy Max Smith of Wallace, age 76, died Monday night, April 26, in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville, He was born in Hiseville, Kentucky, October 17, 1908, the son of Zachary and Martha Smith Smith. In 1929, he married Mary Greene, who survives. Smith was a retired employee of Fountain County Highway Department.

  Also surviving are three daughters, Pat Eder of Dallas, Texas, Beverly Weir of Gibsonton, Florida, and Rhoda Dowell of Crawfordsville; two sons, Charles of Mace and Roger of Florida; a sister, Edna Swindler of Hillsboro; a brother, Clarence of Hillsboro; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown with Rev. William Ditner officiating. Burial was in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
