SMITH, Jessie White - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Jessie Isalone Smith, 66, wife of the Rev. Leslie Smith died Monday morning at her home outside Kingman. She had been in ill health for a year and had been seriously ill 8 weeks. Mrs. Smith was born July 15, 1889, the daughter of James B. and Anna B. Marshall White. She married Leslie Smith June 15, 1910 and he survives. Also surviving are three children: Charles and Wayne L. both of Muncie and Mrs. Doris E. Steze at home and two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Zackmire of Indianapolis, Mrs. Pearl Emory of Kingman. She was a member of the Centennial Evangelical United Brethren Church.  Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Centennial Church with the Rev. Dr. KK Merryman, conference superintendent of the EUB Church officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. The Fishero Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. – kbz
