Just ten days elapsed between the death of CHARLES D. TOMLINSON and his daughter, MRS. HILDRED T. SMITH, who passed away at 3:30 a.m. Sunday in New South Memphis. She was but 20 years old, and leaves besides her husband and mother, an infant 6 weeks’ old and another child. Both father and daughter were buried in the family burying ground in Paragould, Ark. The remains of the latter were taken to that place by J. W. Norris & Co. Sunday. Mrs. Smith attended her father’s funeral, and was apparently in good health. She was only ill a week, with a severe case of general peritonitis. Mr. Tomlinson was a brother of Mrs. E. M. Cox of this place. -s
