Waynetown Jan 11 – Harley C. Smith, 65, manger of the Waynetown sawmill was found dead in his office here shortly after noon today. Born at Yeddo in Fountain County he was married July 29, 1908 to the former Miss Vera D. Mitchell who survives. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and had lived in this community for the past 25 years. Survivors include besides the widow, two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Stockdale of Lewisville, Ind and Mrs. Wilma Denny of here; two sisters, Mrs. Daisy Newnum of Veedersburg and Mrs. Hazel Kelley of Mahomet, Ill; a step mother, Mrs. Sarah Smith and a step sister, Mrs. Ruby Grady, both of Yeddo. – kbz
