Word has been received in Veedersburg of the death of George Wesley Smith, 75
of Monroe, LA. Mr. Smith had many friends in FOuntain County and was
married in 1892 to Acie F. Stevens of Veedesrburg. He was one of the
outstanding citizens of the state of Louisiana and dean of the bar association
