Earl Smith of Mellott, has received word of the death of his oldest brother, Frank M. Smith, 61, who passed away Thursday at Raymondville, Texas. He had been in declining health for the past four years and seriously ill the past three months with complications.

Mr. Smith was born and raised near Wingate. He was the son of George and Emma Bagby Smith. He had resided in Texas for the past 10 years.

He is survived by three brothers, Earl, of Mellott, Ernest, of Wingate, and Winston, of Raymondville, Texas; and one sister, Mrs. Earl Cook, of LaMont, Okla.

The body was brought to the Teague Funeral Home in Wingate. Burial in the Covington Cemetery. - S
