Floyd "Vic" Smith, 79, 324 S. Market St., died Saturday in Turtle Creek Convalescent Centre Lafayette, where he was admitted May 22. He had been in ill health two years. Born in Green Hill, he was a life resident of Warren County. He moved to Williamsport from Green Hill 50 years ago. In 1911 he married Ida Shoaf at Williamsport. Mr. Smith was a farmer before working as a molder at Harrison Steel Casting Co. for 33 years. He later was employed eight years by National Homes Corp. He ways a member of Williamsport Christian Church. Surviving are three sons, Donald of Williamsport, Robert D. of Lafayette; and Billie Lee of Sault Sainte Marie, Mich.; three daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Wilson of Cedar Lake, Mrs. Lucille Best of Attica and Mrs. Daisy Best of Williamsport; and a sister, Mrs. Maude Marsh of Lafayette. -- typed by Walt W
