SMITH, Eleanor Meek - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Waynetown, Nov 30 - Mrs. Eleanor Jane Smith died here Wednesday morning after having been ill for several months.  Mrs. Smith was born in Martin County March 16, 1845 and was married to Peter Smith in 1872. Her husband preceded her in death 17 years. The deceased is survived by two brothers, Perry Meek of Waynetown and Thomas Meek of Veedersburg. She was a member of the Baptist Church.  Funeral services will be held this morning at 10:30 from the home. Burial will be at the Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown - kbz
