KINGMAN – Earl P. Smith, 76, of Kingman, owner and operator of a service station and restaurant in Gipville for several years, died Saturday in his home here. He also had operated a business in Florida for several years. Mr. Smith was born at Veedersburg Oct. 12, 1900, a son of Edgar and Rose Palmer Smith. He was married to Susan Catterson. Surviving are his wife; two sons, Guy of Denver, Colo., and Jessie of Virginia Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Frederick (Cleoria) Fox of Fort Wayne; a brother, Dr. Byron J. Smith of Kingman; and nine grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Woodrow Funeral Home here with the Rev. Eston Brook officiating. Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery near Veedersburg.
