Brazil, Ind Aug 23 – Funeral services for Charles F. Smith 87 years old, who died Saturday in Clay County Hospital, will be at 10:30 o’clock Wednesday morning at the Miller & Sons Funeral Home. Judge Robert Stewart will officiate and burial will be in Kingman Cemetery, Kingman. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon.  He was a member of the Brazil First Methodist Church and Men’s Bible Class.  He was a former postmaster of Kingman and grocer in Brazil. Surviving are the widow, Iva; two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Kessel of Brazil and Mrs. Dorothy Byrd of Washington, DC; three sisters, Mrs. Julia Burns and Mrs. Stella Wells, both of Brazil and Mrs. Cora Rice of Greencastle and three grandchildren. - kbz
