Veedersburg - Complications arising from old age caused the death of Mrs. Caroline Smith, 75, which occurred here Friday morning (Aug 23). mrs. Smith is survived by four sons: Edgar with whom she made her home; George of Kingman; David, Yeddo and Berry, Champaign. Mrs. Smith's home had been in this community for many years. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday.

Note: Her Death record lists her birthday as March 17, 1844 but does not give a maiden name - parents listed as unknown. It does say she was buried at Centennial Cemetery.
