SMALL, Mary Higbee - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Waynetown Sep t7 - Mrs. Mary T. Small died at her home here Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. She had been ill for two years but her condition has been considered serious for the past six weeks. Death was caused by complications. The deceased was born in Waynetown on Sept 22, 1861, the daughter of John A> and Ruth Sayers Higbee. She had spent her entire life in this place.  She was married to John Small Dec 31, 1890. Mrs. Small was a member of the local Baptist Church. The survivors are: daughter, Mrs. Clinton Hendricks of Pekin, Ill and son, Clarence of Chicago; one sister, Mrs. Amelia Wood of Waynetown; three brothers, Alonzo of Waynetown; Charles of Hillsboro and William of Redfield, SDE and one grandson William Hendricks of Waynetown.  Funeral services will be held at the Baptist Church Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the pastor, the Rev. Cletis Brown in charge. Interment will be made at the Masonic cemetery here - kbz
