SMAIL, Grace - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Grace Smail, 33, a resident of Covington practically all of her life died at Lake View Hospital at 11 o’clock Friday night. During Friday morning she had submitted to a severe surgical operation.  Mrs. Smail had been ill at her home in Covington for some time before it was decided to take her to the hospital for observation.  She was taken to the hospital late Wednesday night of last week.  Mrs. Smail was born in 1889 and is survived by one daughter. She was married to Herschel Smail but at the time of her illness they were living apart. The body was taken in charge by Undertake Kerr of Covington Saturday morning and taken overland to the latter city for burial.
