SLINKER, Edith Johnson

  Mrs. Edith Slinker, 62, 203 Avenue 1, Attica, died at 11:55 a.m. Friday, April 29, at Americana Healthcare Center in Lafayette.
  Born near Williamsport, October 13, 1920, she was the daughter of Harry and Rilla Mae McNett Johnson. She married Ray Leonard Slinker in Attica June 30, 1938. He died January 12, 1978.

  She was a graduate of Williamsport High School and was a cook at Community Hospital in Williamsport for several years. She was a member of Attica Christian Church and Attica Upper Level Senior Citizens.

  Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Harold Quesenberry and Mrs. Beverly Mansfield, both of Lafayette, and Mrs. Thomas Marks of RR 2, Attic; a brother, Dick Johnson of Williamsport; a sister, Mrs. Marie Agan of Indianapolis; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Ray Jr.

  Services were conducted Monday at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. Alan Cobb officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica.
