Ben H. Sink, Sr., age 74, former mayor of Jasonville, father of Mrs. Bryant (Mary) Livengood of Covington and Indianapolis, died Friday, June 21, at his home in Jasonville. Mr. Sink, an attorney and former coal operator, had been city clerk and postmaster in Jasonville. In the early 1930's he worked in the State Conservation Department. Mr. Sink was a Republican and a member of the Jasonville Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge 530. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Benham Sink, in 1956. Survivors include two sons, Ben H. Sink, Jr., of Indianapolis and Robert E. Sink of New York; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Livengood of Covington and Indianapolis; four grandchildren and one great-grandson. Funeral services were held at 10 a. m. Monday, June 24, at the McClanahan Funeral Home in Jasonville.   --typed by Walt W
