Linden – Mrs. Elsie (Foxworthy) Sines, 65, died Thursday in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette after an eight-month illness. Born in 1890 in Fountain County, she married Earl Sines in 1942.  She had resided in Lafayette from 1942-1953 when she moved here.  Surviving besides her husband are one son, Robert Claire Brown of California; four stepdaughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Burke and Miss Annabelle Sines, both of Lafayette; Mrs. Jannet Featherngale and Mrs. Marjorie Roberts both of Illinois; three stepsons, John of Knoxville, Tenn; George of Attica and Joe of Kansas, Ill; three brothers, Roy Foxworthy of Attica; Will of Livermore, Calif and Mark of Newtown. - kz

Services for Mrs. Earl (Elsie Pearl)) Sines were held Saturday at King & Brown Funeral Home in Linden with burial in Newtown Cemetery.  Mrs. Sines, a native of Richland Township was born in 1890, daughter of Freeman and Ferina Furr Foxworthy.  She married Earl Sines in 1942 and he survives.  Also surviving are a son by a previous marriage, Robert Claire Brown; four stepdaughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Burke and Miss Annabel Sines of Lafayette and Mrs. Janet Featherngale and Mrs. Marjorie Roberts both living in Illinois; three stepsons, john of Knoxville, Tenn; George of Attica and Joe of Kansas, Ill and three brothers, Roy of Attica and Joe of Kansas, Ill and three brothers, Roy of Attica; Will of Livermore, Calif and Mark of Newtown. – kbz
