WEST LEBANON, Ind. (CNS) -- Sarah N. Kennedy Sims, 73, a native of West Lebanon and a resident of Lafayette since 1930, died at 9 a.m. Sunday (April 27, 1969) at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette. She had been ill several years. Mrs. Sims was born March 13, 1896, in West Lebanon, the daughter of Joseph and Sarah High Kennedy. She married Floyd E. Sims July 2, 1920 in Covington and he survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Carl Smith of Lafayette and Mrs. Louis Bowles of Dayton, Ohio; two sons, William P. of Lafayette and Floyd W. of Buck Creek; 14 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Sims was a member of the Methodist Church at West Lebanon, and the auxiliary to Disabled American Veterans, GAR, American War Mothers and Star City Rebekah Lodge No. 292 all of Lafayette. Services will be at 1 p.m. (EDT) Wednesday at the Crowmer-Siddens Chapel here. The Rev. J. Phillip Klinger will officiate with burial in West Lebanon Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday. --typed by Walt W
