SIMS, Martha Pauline - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Martha Pauline Sims of RR 1, Covington, age 77, died Wednesday night, September 29, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Illinois. She was born in Owen County, July 2, 1905, the daughter of John and Norma Drake Sheese. Her husband was Guy Sims, who died in December of 1971.

  Surviving are two daughters, Ruby Rood of Spencer and Irene Rahm of Covington; two sons, Billie Sims of Covington and Stanley Sims of Montgomery; two sisters, Edna Williams of Martinsville and Mildred Cooksey of Cloverdale; a brother, Herschel Sheese of Gasport; 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

  Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at West and Parrish Funeral Home in Spencer with Rev. Michael Douglas officiating. Burial was in Carolina Cemetery in Owen County. - thanks so very VERY much to S
