Mrs. Tyndie Sims, the oldest resident of Fountain County,
Indiana died the other day,a ged 90 years. She was born in Mount Holly,
NJ. Her maiden name was Irena Burr. She
was a direct descendant of the old Burr family and often told of seeing Aaron
Burr and of sitting on his lap when a child.
Mrs. Sims leaves a son, George H. Sims of Attica and daughter, Mrs. LA
Beach of Chicago.

Attica, Ind Aug 25 – Mrs. Tyndie Sims, the oldest resident
of this county is dead, aged 90 years. She was born in Mount Holly, NJ. Her maiden name was Irena Burr. She was a
direct descendant of the old Burr Family and often told of seeing Aaron Burr
and sitting on his lap when a child. Mrs. Sims leaves a son, George H. Sims of
this city and a daughter, Mrs. LA Beach of Chicago. The funeral was held this
afternoon and was largely attended.
