SIMPSON, Lois - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Hillsboro - Lois M. Simpson, 86 of Hillsboro died at 11 p.m. Saturday at her home.  Mrs. Simpson was a homemaker. She was a member of the Browns Valley Christian Church. She graduated from Wallace HS. She was born June 5, 1910 in Fountain County to Reid Starns and Harriet Abagail Grimes. She married Bert Simpson in Dec 24, 1930. He preceded her in death.  Survivors include one son James of Crawfordsville; two daughters, Jeanette Snyder of Hillsboro and Esther Jane Revie of Springfield, Mo; one stepsister, Marguerite Green of Michigan; one sister-in-law, Margaret Tague of Marshall; 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home of Waynetown with Joe Starns and Darryl Moore officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Browns Valley Christian Church. - kbz
