SIMONTON, Howard Willis

Howard Willis Simonton, 68, RR 2, Williamsport, died Saturday, October 29, at his home. He was the father of Charles Simonton of Veedersburg.
Born August 8, 1917 in Potomac, Illinois, he was the son of Richard T. and Sylvia Isabel Shoaf Simonton. On February 24, 1939 he married Eulah Irene Gross, who died April 8, 1964. He was retired from Harrison Steel Castings Company in Attica and had worked as a woodcutter. A graduate of Potomac High School, he was a member of West Lebanon Christian Church.
Other survivors include two other sons, Walter and Richard Simonton of West Lebanon; two daughters, Patricia Babb of Kramer and Lameta Verhey of Stone Bluff; a brother, Robert Simonton of West Lebanon; and a sister, Lucinda Lucas of Washington. He was preceded in death by a brother, Theodore Simonton.
Services were conducted Wednesday at Fisher Funeral Home in West Lebanon with burial in West Lebanon Cemetery.- thanks to S
