SIMMONS, Kate Short - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Kate Simmons, wife of Mause Simmons, a prominent farmer residing northeast of here, died Sunday evening about 5 after a brief illness of influenza which developed into double pneumonia. She is survived by her husband, four sons and two daughters, two brothers, Am and Wilbert Short, residing northeast of here and two sisters, Mrs. John A. Stephens of Mellott and Mrs. Ed Oyler of near here. The funeral service will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
