Services for Ernest Manford Simmons, 64, who died Friday morning, Dex 12, 1958, at his home in Wingate following a heart attack Thursday, will be at the Servies Funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Monday.  The Rev. Arthur Dobbs of Veedersburg will officiate with burial in the Lutheran Cemetery at Wallace. A farmer in Fountain County and Montgomery county most of his life, he was born in Yeddo, Jan 1 1894, the son of Roy and Elizabeth Ann Hutts Simmons. On Nov 26 1924, he married the former Lizzie Swindler in Covington.  She survives. He was a member of the Freedom Christian Church.  A veteran of service in World War I, he belong to the wingate American Legion Post 174. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ethel May Simms of Waynetown Route 2; a brother, Arista Simmons of Mellott and a sister Mrs. Ura Newnum of Cayuga.   The body is at the funeral home where friends will be received.
