COVINGTON .- Funeral services for John Simmerman, age 75, of Lafayette, father of Don Simmerman of Covington, were held at 2 p.m. Fiday at the Roemer Funeral Home in Attica.  The Rev. Harry Randolph officiated and burial was in Chenoweth
Cemetery in Warren County.
Mr. Simmerman died at 6:37 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, in the Home Hospital in Lafayette.  He had resided in Lafayette at the home of a son-in-law, Lewis Livengood, the past six months.
He had lived at Kramer until that time.  He was a veteran of World War I and a retired employee of Harrison Steel Castings
Co., of Attica.
Mr. Simmerman was born July 20, 1892, in Carbondale.  He is survived by three sons, Donald of Covington, John Lee and Larry Simmerman, both of Attica; three daughters, Mrs. Lewis Livengood of Lafayette, Mrs. Donald Peek of Indianapolis and Mrs. Reginald Carter of Valdosta, Ga.
