WILLIAMSPORT - Martin Silver, age 75, of Williamsport, died at 1:15 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8, at Carle Clinic in Champaign, Ill. He had been in for three weeks.
He was born May 14, 1892, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Silver of Boswell. He was married on Nov. 25, 1926, to Mildred Faulknew, who survives. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Attica.
Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: four sons, William, Thomas, James and Robert, all of Williamsport; five daughters, Mrs. Mary Klemmer and Mrs. Joyce Wetli of Fowler, Mrs. Rita Senesac of Port Hueneme, Calif., and Miss Sandra Silver and Miss Patricia Silver, both of Lafayette; one sister, Mrs. Loretta Goory of Pulaski, and 17 grandchildren.
Rosary was read at 8 p.m. Sunday at the Yuill Funeral Home in Boswell. Requiem Mass was held at St. Mary's Catholic Church at Dunnington at 10 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Charles Remaklus officiated and burial was m St. Mary's Cemetery, Dunnington.
