SIKES, Sherman - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Sherman Sikes, 72, died July 20 in his home in San Diego, Calif. He suffered a stroke several years ago, and had been in ill health since then. He lived most of his life in Missouri, Illinois, Detroit, Michigan, and California. He was a car salesman and also trained riding horses. Surviving are his widow, Myrtle; two daughters, Mrs. Sharon Reed, San Diego, Calif., and Karen Bustard of New Hampshire; four brothers, Col. Lloyd Sikes, Zebulon, Ga.; William D. Sikes, Denver, Colo.; Lewis Calvin Sikes, Lafayette, and Ardell "Jack" Sikes, Pine Village, and one sister, Vernabel Moran, Denver. Service and burial were July 24 in San Diego…-- thanks to Cheryl
