SHUTE, Mabel - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

VEEDERSBURG - Funeral services for Miss Mabel Shute, age 75, who died at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 10, in the Rudisill Nursing Home in Covington, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Sever Mortuary here. The Rev. Colon Park officiated and burial was in Hopewell Cemetery, southwest of Covington. Miss Shute, who had been a patient in the nursing home the past two years, was born May 28, 1890, on a farm near Perrysville. She spent her entire life there with the exception of two years in the nursing home. She was the daughter of David and Maria Foster Shute. She was never married. Her only survivors are cousins.   -- jlr
