SHUTE, Edna Galloway - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Waynetown - Nov 16 -- Mrs. Edna K. Shute, 37, died at 11:45 o'clock Friday night at her home 3 miles NE of Waynetown. She had been ill four years and was a patient in Rockville sanitarium until her return home last June. She was seriously ill one day before her death. She was born on Dec 22, 1902 east of Covington, the daughter of Edward and Ella Galloway and on Dec 22, 1924 she was married to Raymond Shute of Indianapolis. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church near Covington. Most of her life was spent in Fountain County until she moved to the present home NE of Waynetown. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Robert Eugene, 16 and Edward Leroy, 14; her mother, Mrs. Ella Galloway of Covington and one brother, Earl of Veedesrburg. The body will remain at the late home until noon Sunday when it will be taken to the Grenard Funeral Home for funeral services to be held at 2 p.m. in charge of Rev. IC Overman. Burial will be in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
