ATTICA — Clyde Erferin Shuppert, 64, of 904 S. Perry St., died in Community Hospital, Williamsport, at 10 p.m. Tuesday. He was a patient there two weeks after having been in failing health. Born in Fountain County, he was a clerk in the Attica Post Office from 1919 to 1929 and from then until 1955 was country circulation manager in this area for the Indianapolis News and Attica Ledger-Tribune. Mr. Shuppert was married to Dorotha Dodge in 1921 and was a member of the First Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge and Fraternal Order of Eagles of Attica, Shrine and Scottish Rite at Indianapolis and Loyal Order of Moose at Wabash. ATTICA — Funeral services for Clyde Erferin Shuppert, age 64, of 902 S. Perry St., Attica, who died at 10 p.m. Tuesday, Aµg. 3, in the Community Hospital, Williamsport, were held at 3 p.m., Friday at the Roemer Funeral Home here. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Attica.
Mr. Shuppert, who had been ill two weeks, was born Sept. 23, 1900. in Fountain County, the son of Levi and Paradine Oswalt Shuppert. He was a member of the First Methodist Church of Attica, the Attica Masonic Lodge, the Shrine and Scottish Rite of Indianapolis, the Attica Eagles and the Moose Lodge of Wabash.
He was a clerk in the Attica , Post Office from 1919 to 1929. He was then in the circulation department of the Attica Ledger-
Tribune and Indianapolis News until he retired in 1955.
Mr. Shuppert is survived by: his wife, Dorotha Dodge, whom he married in 1921 and several nieces and nephews.
