SHULTZ, Viola Jane - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Newtown June 27 – Mrs. Viola Jane Shultz, 80, widow of George Shultz, died of cancer at 7:45 a.m. today at her home, west of here. She had been in a wheel chair for 18 months, following a hip injury.  Born near here all her life was spent in tis community and she was married Sept 25, 1879 to Mr. Shultz, who died four years ago. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Anna Watts, Mellott; Mrs. Hettie Stokes, near here and Frances at home; with two sons, Andrew and Lester, of Newtown. Services at the residence Sunday at 2;30 with burial in Newtown cemetery the Coffing & Robinson Funeral Home, Attica in charge. - kbz
