Hillsboro, March 1 – Rome Shultz, who lived near Mellott for many years died at Cayuga Saturday night after suffering for several months from rheumatism. The immediate cause of his death was apoplexy. Mr. Shultz had lived in Indianapolis for many years. He went to Cayuga for treatment last Thursday. The body was taken to the home of John L. Moore of Mellott and the funeral was held at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon. Burial was in the Newtown cemetery. The deceased was 62 years old. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Suttles of Mellott and Mrs. Monroe Steinbaugh of Veedersburg. – kbz
