Newtown, Ind. (CNS)— Mrs. Evelyn Shultz died at 6:30 p.m. Friday (Nov. 4, 1966) at Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville, where she had been a patient a week. Born June 26, 1879, northwest of Newtown, she was the daughter of David and Ruth Stafford Foster. She married Chalmer Shultz June 3, 1908. She attended Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio, and DePauw University in Greencastle. She was a member of the Newtown Presbyterian Church. She left Newtown 38 years ago, and resided in Colorado until 1958, when she and Shultz returned to Newtown. He survives. Other survivors are: One son, Ralph, Arlington, Va.; two daughters, Mrs. C. V. Van Dorn of Chadron, Neb., and Mrs. Barbara Moore of Denver, Colo.; three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. The body is at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
