Mrs. Sybil Elizabeth Shuler, 54, died at 5:45 p.m. Saturday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. She had been seriously ill since suffering a fractured hip in a fall at her home about 3 weeks ago. Mrs. Shuler was a member of the Kingman EUB Church and Ladies Aid of the Wolf Creek and Wallace Christian Churches. She also was a member of the FGT Birthday Club. Born March 16, 1908 near Kingman, she was a daughter of William and Effie Cory Dark. She was educated in the Kingman schools. In 1939 she married Hershel Shuler. He died last August (1962). Surviving are a son, Donald at home; her mother, Mrs. Effie Dark of Waveland; two sisters, Mrs Mildred Bowman of Waveland and Mrs. Mabel Bennett of Danville, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father and sister. Funeral services are announce for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman, Rev. John Servies will officiate. Interment will be in the Kingman Fraternal Cemetery

Wallace -- Mrs. Sybil Elizabeth Shuler, 54, died at 5:45 p.m. Saturday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. She had been seriously ill since suffering a fractured hip in a fall at her home about three weeks ago. Mrs. Shuler was a member of the Kingman EUB Church and the ladies aid of the Wolf Creek and Wallace Christian churches. She also was a member of the FGT Birthday Club. Born March 16, 1908, near Kingman, she was a daughter of William and Effie Cory Dark. She was educated in the Kingman schools. In 1939 she married Hershel Shuler. He died last Aug. 4. Surviving are a son, Donald, at home; her mother, Mrs. Effie Dark of Waveland; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Bowman of Waveland and Mrs. Mabel Bennett of Danville, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father and a sister. Funeral services are announced for 2 p.m. (EST) Tuesday at the Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman. Rev. John Servies will officiate. Interment will be in the Kingman Fraternal Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home from 2 until 4 and from 7 until 9 Monday afternoon and evening.
