SHULER, Frank - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Frank H. Shuler, 80 a former employee of the Mid-Sates Steel & Wire Co where he had worked for 27 years died Tuesday at 6 pm. at Culver Hospital following a stroke which he suffered at noon, the fire department rsuscitator was rushed in Mr. Shuler's home at 406 W. Main St. Born in Fountain County on Oct 17, 1874 he was the son of David and Mary Jane Bowers Shuler.  In December of 1899 he married Lillian Brewer who preceded him in death Feb 24, 1947.  He was a member of the First EUB Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Faye Hester of Middletown Ohio; a son Archie Shuler, also of Middletown; a step daughter, Mrs. Goldie Teegarden of Frankfort; a stepson, Herschel H. Hutts of Indianapolis and a brother, John of Veedersburg. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Proffitt & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Bennett Fulp officiating.  Burial will be in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.  - kbz
