Mrs. Cordelia E. Shuler who was stricken with a cerebral hemorrhage Aug 29 passed away at her home, 312 South Green Street at 12 o'clock midnight, Thursday Nov 20.  On being stricken she was taken to Culver Hospital where she remained for four weeks when she was taken to her home.  Mrs. Shuler was born in what is known ast he Philpott neighborhood four miles west of Wallace. Here she grew to womanhood, graduating from the schools of that period and taught one term of school.  Dec 14, 1900 she was united in marriage to John W. Shuler. After their marriage they began housekeeping on the Shuler farm later moving to Wallace where Mr. Shuler was engage din the furniture and funeral directing business. In 1901 they moved to Waynetown where Mr. Shuler also engaged in the furniture and funeral business until he retired Sept 1, 1939.  Mr. and Mrs. Shuler moved to Crawfordsville Oct 1, 1944 and established their home at 312 South Green Street.  Mrs. Shuler was 77 years of age July 30.  She united with the Christian Church when a young girl and was an active member of that church at Wallace and Waynetown. After moving to Crawfordsville she place her membership with the Crawfordsville Christian Church.  She was a member of Waynetown chapter Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by her husband; one son,  Dr. Lacey L. Shuler of Indianapolis; a granddaughter Susan of Indianapolis; a half brother, John Thomas of Kingman and number of cousins.  A short funeral service will be held at the Bright Funeral Home at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon in charge of Rev. Paul E. Million. Interment will be in the fmaily lot in the Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. Friends may view the body at Bright Funeral Home. -  kbz
