Loudonville - George W. Shreve Sr., 81, of Loudonville, died yesterday morning at the Holiday Home in Loudonville. He had worked for the Penn Central Railroad for 50 years as a signal maintenance man. He was born in Veedersburg, Ind., and had lived in Loudonville the past 46 years. He was a member of the Veedersburg Masonic Lodge and had received a 50-year pin and a life-time membership. Survivors include a son, George Jr. of Loudonville and two grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Banks Funeral Home in Loudonville with the Rev. James Greenawalt officiating. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery near Perrysville. Friends may call at the funeral home anytime where Masonic services will be held at 8:30 p.m. today.
