SHORT, Marguerite Hatt - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Hillsboro -- Mrs. Marguerite V. Short, 75-year-old former resident of this community died Sunday in a nursing home at Indianapolis where she had been a patience since Sept 1. Mrs. Short, a graduate of Hillsboro HS and member of the Hillsboro Christian Church had lived at Indianapolis about 40 years. She was born Jan 26, 1887 in Hillsboro a daughter of Perry and Nettie Wright Hatt. She married June 10, 1917 to Bruce Short who died recently. Surviving are a daughter, Miss Annette Short of Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Oveta Parker of Chicago and two nieces. The body was brought to the Crumley Funeral Home where friends may pay their respects Tuesday afternoon and evening. Funeral rites are announced for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Ross Kirk officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery here.
