SHORT, Lena Crumley

MELLOTT -- A memorial service for Mrs. Lena Crumley Short, 53, will be held Sunday morning after worship services at the Mellott Congregational Christian Church. Rev. R. H. Peters will be in charge of the service. Mrs. Short passed away suddenly April 26 in Kohala, Hawaii, where she had made her home since 1929. Her body was cremated in Hawaii and sent to the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Mrs. Short was a teacher in the public schools in Kohala. She was born and reared near Mellott. The burial of the urn will be in the Rose Hill cemetery in Hillsboro. --typed by Walt W
