Attica, Aug 27 – Mrs. Frankie Mae Short, 83, died Thursday morning at the Knights of Pythias home in Lafayette where she had been a resident 14 years. She had been ill about one year. The widow of Lois W. Short, she spent her entire life in the Attica-Williamsport vicinity until she moved to the home. She was a member of the Pythian Sisters Temple and Order of Eastern Star here. Two granddaughters are the only close survivors. Burial will be in Attica.
