Hillsboro - It was learned here Saturday morning that Mrs. Rheuben Short, who resided on a farm northeast of here died at the Methodist Hospital in Indianpaolis Friday evening about 5:30 o'clock. Mrs. Short underwent an operation for gall stones Wednesday. She underwent an operation about two years ago and since then had never regained her former health. Mrs. Lotta Short was 48 years of age and the daughter of Jerre Haas of near Wingate. She is survived by her husband one daughter Mrs. Bertha Bantz, residing near her parents and one son, Clarence Short who is in military service in camp at El Paso, Texas
