SHORT, Barbara J. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Barbara J. Short, 70, former Hillsboro area resident died Monday, October 11, 1999 at Oceanside, California.  She was born in Omaha, Nebraska on Oct 3, 1929.  Mrs. Short was a member of the Poinsetta Chapter, 287 Order of Eastern Star and was a homemaker. Surviving are: her husband, Charles Keith Short of Greenside; two daughters, Donna Kay Self of Hoyleton, Ill and Karen Lee Richards of Austin, Tex; one son, Raymond Keith Short of Norfolk, VA; two sisters, Virginia Lilly Nancy Geen Horgan of San Diego, Cal and two grandchildren.  Order of Eastern Star graveside services will be performed by the Fern Chapter, #194 on Saturday the 18th at 2 p.m. in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.  Maus Funeral Directors, Hillsboro in charge of local arrangements.
