Hillsboro, June 11 – The funeral of Mrs.
Angelina Short, aged 76 widow of the late David Short, a prominent farmer of
four miles northeast of here who died three years ago, was held at the late
residence this afternoon at 3. The
services were conducted by Mr. Miles Cooper, who resides near the Short
homestead. The interment was in Dry Run
cemetery near this place. Mrs. Short has been ill for the past three weeks of a
complication of diseases due to her declining years. She is survived by five
children, two sons, Willet, who resided with his mother on the homestead farm
and Amy Short, who resided on an adjoining farm, and three daughters, Mrs. Kale
Simmons and Mrs. Rebecca Stephens of Mellott and Mrs. Sarada Oyler of
Hillsboro. - kbz
