SHORT, Am - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mellott - Am Short, 73, died at 6:45 p.m. in his home here from complications after an illness of 3 years. The son of David and Angeline Underwood Short, he was born in Fountain County Dec 14, 1876.  He married Katie Bennett near Mellott Nov 28, 1895. He was a member of the Waynetown Methodist Church. Surviving are the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Ruby H. Brown of Mellott; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Grenard & Servies Funeral Home at Waynetown with burial in Waynetown Masonic cemetery. Rev. Guy Walters of Mellott will be in charge. Friends may call at the funeral home. - kbz
