Starless (Short) Shoaf, 50 of Wallace died at approximately 11 p.m. Tuesday Nov 1, 1955 at his home of a heart attack. His body was found Wednesday morning by neighbors. Mr. Shoaf was born Jan 22, 1905 at Wallace, son of John and Corda Bowman Shoaf. He married Elsie Cory. Surviving are his mother; a daughter, Mrs. Delbert Kunkle; three grandchildren; two half sisters, Mrs. Ruby Mycroft of Covington; Mrs. Marie Glaze of Kingman and a half-brother, Leslie McCollum of Wallace. The body is at the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro where services will be at 2 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery. – kbz
