VEEDERSBURG — Robert G. Shoaf,
81, Veedersburg, died at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2006 in St. Vincent
Williamsport Hospital. He was born Oct. 15, 1924 in Fountain County, the son of
Guy and Eunice (Givens) Shoaf. He married Lucretia Verrill April 3, 1946. She
survives. He graduated from Veedersburg High School. He retired from Attica
Grain in 1990. Survivors, besides the wife, include: a daughter, Kay Shoaf,
Indianapolis; and a son, Randy Shoaf, Columbus, Ga. He was preceded in death by
two brothers. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Monday in Dickerson Funeral
Home, Veedersburg, with Pastor Darlene Bishop officiating. Burial was in
Rockfield Cemetery. Preferred memorials to the American Diabetes Association. – jlr
