Orville A. Shoaf, 81 of 2009 Clover Drive died at 6:05 a.m. today in Culver Hospital. Mr. Shoaf was a retire dprotectionist at Indiana Theater, Bloomington for 45 years. He was a 50-year-memer of Local Union 618 of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and Moving Picture Machine Operators of the US and Canada.
Born June 2, 1902 in Fountain County, he was a son of Madison and Elizabeth Zachmire Shoaf. He was married to Pearl McCollum.
Surviving are a son, Orville F. of Crawfordsville; two daughters, Mrs. Sam (Nina) Young of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Mabel Swisher of Indianapolis; a sister Mrs. Olive McKinney of Attica; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A brother and two sisters are deceased.
Services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Friday in Powers Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 pm. Thursday. - kz
