SHOAF, Marietta Bever

Mary Etta Bever Shoaf, 83, was born Feb 8, 1861 near Hillsboro, the daughter of Isaac and Jane Lowe Bever and married Henry Shoaf in 1878. She died Saturday at the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Mary Shoaf in Danville, Il. Services 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Centennial Church south of Veedersburg. Rev. B.B. Cartwright pastor of Immanuel Presbyterian church officiated. Survivors are the daughter-in-law, daughter Mrs. Tessie Redenbough of Kingman; foster-daughter, Mrs. Jessie Warrick of Indianapolis, 5 grandchildren 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A great grandson, Gordon Stonebraker of Veedersburg lost his life in August in the invasion of France. Mr. Shoaf died in 1914 and her son John also preceded her.
